On the borders of Tuscany and Umbria, Pilari is only a short drive to Cortona or Lake Trasimeno. A short walk
from the old market town of Mercatale, with shops, bars and restaurants. The

La Taverna is a very special small property sharing a pool
with three other houses. Completely made of stone it seems
as though it is carved out of the rock. The kitchen area in
the main room has an ancient marble sink, though modern
plumbing!
Set into a corner of the stone wall in the bedroom is a
luxurious spa bath. There is also a bathroom with a spacious
shower.
The living room opens onto a walled courtyardand private garden. A few steps away is the
large pool with wonderful views over the hills. It is set in
a friendly village with a shop, bar and restaurant only a

wonderful.

La Corticella is a charming old 13th century Tuscan farmhouse on a hillside with wonderful views as far as Montalcino over an area rich in castles. the house has recently been restored using the original materials like terracotta floors and exposed beams, and the house has lost none of its original charm.
There are two apartments at the property, each with private entrance and private outside area furnished with table and chairs for dining out. There is the lovely swimming pool in the beautiful garden next to the vineyard.
