Podere Il Moro is a stunning farmhouse in the most idyllic Tuscan countryside.
The typical red-orange farmhouse blends perfectly with the rolling hills that surround it. Recently restored by the young owners, all the original features of the house have been carefully maintained, restoring it to its original beauty. The house is surrounded by a well tended garden on one side and by geranium plants on the other. A large swimming pool (7x14 m - 1.10-1.40 deep) overlooks the countryside, well equipped with sun-beds. The pool is open from the 15th of May to the 30th of September. There are only 5 apartments in total. The apartments are very spacious and all have a private space to dine ' al fresco' in the hot summer's evening. All are similar in style, tastefully furnished with wrought iron beds and have kept the original terracotta floors and vaulted ceilings. Satellite tv available in each apartment. Il Moro is an ideal position to visit Siena and the surrounding area. It is at only 15 minutes from that beautiful Renaissance city and at only 1 hour from Florence. The smaller gems of Montepulciano, Pienza and Monteriggioni are all between 30 and 50 minutes away. A stay at Il Moro will give you a real taste of the best of Tuscan countryside as well being at starting point to explore the region. The nearest village with shopping facilities and restaurants is San Rocco a Pilli at 3 kms.
Sometimes the owners prepare typical Tuscan dinners al fresco (if
possible depending on weather conditions) - Prices from 15 up to 25 euro

Outside space 60 square meters. (extra single bed available in the bedroom). Double sofa bed available in the living room of the apartments except Giardino2.
