QUARANTALLINA is situated in the heart of the Val d'Arbia, 30 km South of Siena , about 3 km from Buonconvento, near the medieval village of Murlo. The old brick and stone Tuscan farmhouse dominates the whole valley.

The whole house has been recently restored retaining all the original features and divided into 3 independent apartments, simply furnished in typical Tuscan style. There are also 3 lovely double bedrooms each with private ensuite bathroom with shower which can be rented by the night. There is also a common area for the guests of the bedrooms where the owners upon request can serve a buffet breakfast.

Each apartment has its own private entrance and space outside furnished with table and chairs for dining out. There is a swimming pool (6 x 14 - h 1.50) in the most panoramic position in the garden, open from the 15th May to the 30th September.

The owner Mario, a Sienese farmer and artist, cultivates the 70 hectares of the farm personally and he couldn't choose a better place to get inspiration.
With the excellent location of Quarantallina, you can easily visit Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, etc. as well as Siena & Florence.


Apartment APPALUSA: 80 m2. On two floors. Ground floor with large living/dining room with kitchen corner (cooker and fridge), one twin bedded room, one bathroom with shower and washing machine. You reach the upper floor by a narrow spiral staircase which leads into a spacious double bedded room. Satellite tv.

Apartment PAINT: 60 m2. On two floors. Ground floor with living/dining room with kitchen corner (cooker and fridge), one single bedroom, one bathroom with shower and washing machine. You reach the upper floor with a double bedded room by a narrow spiral staircase. Satellite tv.

Apartment QUARTER: 95 m2. On two floors. Ground floor with living/dining room with kitchen corner (cooker and fridge), one double bedded room, one bathroom with shower and washing machine. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with a double bedded room and another bathroom with shower. Satellite tv.

Horse riding per person € 20 per hour, € 40 for 2 hours, € 50 for 3 hours and € 100 for a daily excursion with packet lunch.
