Recently restored to the highest standard, the Villa is a deluxe country house in the beautiful Val D’Orcia in the South-Eastern part of the Siena province in Tuscany.
This is a region of famous wines, medieval towns, Renaissance art treasures, castles, monasteries and spa towns with healing water already enjoyed in the Roman times. Its location is ideal for visiting many interesting sites nearby, such as Pienza, only 10 minutes away and Montepulciano 15 minutes away. Montalcino, Siena, Perugia, Orvieto and Cortona can be reached in less than an hour. The villa is one and half hours from Florence and two hours from Rome. Local towns for shops and restaurants are within reach. The villa sleeps 16 adults comfortably. It has 8 double bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Elegantly furnished living areas open out to the courtyard for dining al fresco and to stunning views over the valley. The courtyard is surrounded by small climbing roses and vines. On one side there is the entrance and an open area, on the other side is a huge swimming pool. Nearby are beautiful walking and biking paths and cypress lined country roads. It is beautifully decorated and contains many antiques pieces of furniture. The comfortable lounge area makes the villa feel like a home. On the ground floor is the spacious fully-equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, big cooker and large fridge with freezer.There is also a bathroom, a comfortable living room with satellite TV where it is possible to listen to music, and a beautiful room called the Winter Garden, with beautiful plants, a pool table and three windows with an excellent views across the valley. On the first level is a study, another kitchen and 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. On the second level there are 2 twin bedrooms and a bathroom. Two double bedrooms are on the other side of the courtyard. These rooms have a comfortable double bed and a private bathroom with shower. Beside these rooms there is a sauna and hydromassage bath 2x 2 (heated and available in winter too) and a gymnasium.
