Villa Le Querce is a beautiful old 17th century stone farmhouse is ideally located at the entrance of a small hamlet set in one of the untouched areas of Tuscan countryside, near the enchanting San Galgano Abbey. Newly restored, this three-storey house has been divided into 4 lovely apartments with a beautiful and spacious common areas on the ground floor.
Villa La Querce sleeps a total of 16 people and is perfect for a group who want holiday together but still have their own privacy.

At the back of the house guests have their own private garden, where the swimming pool (16 x 8 mts - 1.30/1,.0 mts deep) is set, and a large terrace furnished with table and chairs for dining out.
The ground floor consists of a large hall, a spacious dining/living room with French doors leading to the terrace; a kitchen (cooker, oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine) and a tv room.
There are four apartments: two on the first and two on the second floor.
Each consists of a living room with kitchen corner (oven, cooker, fridge/freezer) and double sofa bed; one double bedroom; one bathroom with shower.
( Please note that this may change before next season, with the sofa-beds being replaced by normal beds, and the kitchenettes removed to make way for wardrobes).
All the apartments have traditional features such as brick ceilings with beams and terracotta floors. Each is furnished with a pleasant mix of contemporary and antique furniture in typical Tuscan country style.

At the guests' disposal a grassy area with volley net, barbecue, 4 mountain bikes. There is a covered games room with table-tennis, stepper, swing, mini-gym.
In an old barn at the side, the owner has started creating a museum of old agricultural life in the region, with many ancient carts and machines.
The property is conveniently located for visits to Siena (33 kms away) and to explore the magnificent wooded countryside between Chiusdino (8 km), Massa Marittima (30 km) and the Tuscan coast (60 km).
Just up the road is the magnificent ruined San Galgano Abbey, reminiscent of Tintern. In the chapel on the hill above you can see the sword in the stone, leading many Italians to conclude that King Arthur was really from Italy! There are numerous villages in the area and many good restaurants, the nearest is at walking distance.

The prices are per apt. per week and they include water, gas, electricity, linen changed weekly and final cleaning.
Use of the pool open from the 1st of May to the 30th of September.
Baby bed available for free upon request. * Extra bed: Euro 30 per person per week.
To pay on the premises:
Central heating upon use (4 Euro per cubic meter) .
Inventory deposit: € 500.
