Podere Il Poggetto is an attractive old stone Tuscan house set in its own private grounds, in a panoramic position overlooking a green landscape of wooded hills.
There is a swimming pool which is surrounded by small fir trees giving shade on hot summer days.
Just 5 minutes drive from the old town of Monticiano which has a good selection of shops, a bank, a post office and a local restaurant serving typical Tuscan cuisine. It is possible to walk into the village.
Ground floor:
There is a spacious living/dining room with fireplace and doors to the terrace and garden making it ideal for 'al fresco' dining. A kitchen (oven, cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher), one double bedded room, one twin bedded room and a bathroom with shower.
First floor:
There is a living room, two double bedded rooms, one twin bedded room, a bathroom with bath and a bathroom with shower.
Satellite tv, barbecue, washing machine available.
A very peaceful and relaxing location.
The hot springs of Petriolo are not far away and you can sit and enjoy the hot water which fall down the rocks into the clear river below, ideal for a cooling swim.
Siena 34 km - about 40 minutes drive. San Gimignano and Monteriggioni - about 1 hour.
Exceptional value for a house of this size. Ideal for two families.
