La Pievina is a lovely old villa set in a farming hamlet and retaining its original features. It is very much a part of the superb landscape well known as "Le Crete Senesi" area, with breathtaking views over the rolling hills.
A wrought iron gate leads to the private Italian style garden, furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dinners. In the garden there is a nice swimming pool for the guests exclusive use. A classic marble double staircase leads up to the house.
All the rooms lead off a very long attractive hallway. There is a very large country kitchen with large open fireplace and a long table, which has kept its original role as the focal point of the house. Next to the kitchen there is living/dining room, with sofa and tv. In front of the kitchen there is also a reading room..
Four double bedrooms have ensuite shower bathrooms. The fifth double bedded room uses a very spacious bathroom with shower at the end of the corridor.
Laundry room with washing machine and iron is on the ground floor.
Within walking distance of a traditional "Osteria" restaurant.
The nearest town is Asciano (about 7 km away) with its restaurants, shops, supermarket and banks. Siena is about 24 km away from the property
Overlooking its own lawned courtyard and pool this is an ideal house for a larger party.

The prices are per apt. per week and they include water, gas, electricity, linen changed weekly and final cleaning.
Pool open from the 15th of May to the 30th of September.

Central heating € 3.5 per cubic meter upon use.
