The upper ground floor is around 200 square metres and comprises: a large kitchen with a traditional fireplace for BBQ, a TV room with sofa ideal to use a games room (satellite TV available); a huge L-shaped lounge and dining room with which opens out to a large panoramic terrace (40 square metres) ideal for dining al fresco and to gorgeous views over the valley and pool. On one side of the lounge there are comfortable sofas and armchairs and on the another side a dining area for up to 12 people.
On one side of the lounge a door leads to 3 bedrooms; one master double bedroom with lovely views of the valley, plus one twin room and another double room (this room can also become a twin) overlooking the garden. There are also 2 bathrooms with bath and shower. There is a sofa bed in the lounge.
The general decoration and furniture of the villa is elegant yet comfortable. You will feel instantly at home!

From the terrace there is a staircase that leads directly to the pool equipped with sun-beds and a large parasol. The pool is accessed with a few internal steps and also has a jacuzzi and a solar powered shower.
The English speaking owner of the villa lives on the lower ground floor. The owner is unobtrusive yet will be extremely glad to be of any help to discover the secrets of the surrounding area or book anything for you.
Cooking service can also be provided as well as extra cleaning during the week or an initial survival shopping should you be arriving late on Saturday.
The pool is generally shared with the owner.
If you wish to have even more privacy around the pool, you can choose to have private use of the pool for the week at an extra cost. Otherwise the pool is shared with the owner who could provide you with the perfect opportunity to find out more about Italian culture and life-style.
Parking is in the private grounds of the villa. A washing machine is also available at no extra cost and is shared with the owner.

ACTIVITIES AND WHAT IS THERE TO VISIT IN THE AREA
The villa is 1-2 km from Signa centre where you can find supermarkets, restaurants, shops, banks and chemist.
The house is conveniently located to visit many interesting places such as Florence, only 8 km away. If you prefer to avoid traffic and parking there is also a regular train into Florence city centre (15 minutes by train);
Carmignano, 3-4 km is an area interesting for delicious wines;
Artimino, 3km, beautiful Medieval hamlet with an amazing renaissance Medici villa;
Vinci, 15 km, away birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci;
Caruso Villa, in Lastra a Signa (5 minutes away), the villa of the famous Italian opera singer with Italian style gardens.
Pisa: 50 km (1 hour) – Pisa can also be reached by train from Signa Train station (there is a train nearly every hour to Pisa central and Pisa airport);
Golf is only 8 km away at Le Pavoniere Golf Club in Prato. Horse riding 5 minutes away.

2010 Sterling Prices

The prices are per apartment per 7 nights and they include water, gas, electricity, linen changed weekly and final cleaning. Use of the swimming pool open from the 2^nd of May to the 30^th of September.

To pay on the premises: from October to April central heating upon use (euro 3,40 m3).
