Villa Gucci has been restored and furnished with true Italian panache - in fact such stylish design could not be found anywhere else in the world. The Villa is located in an enormous private park, with its own entrance, among olive trees and cypresses, yet only 10 minutes from the heart of Florence. The garden is an important part of the house, from inside you can enjoy the view while remaining private. The house is on two floors. On the lower floor are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus an antechamber with an extra bed . On the garden floor is the kitchen dining room, living room with sliding glass panels on three sides (à la japonaise) and a fire-place, cd player and TV. This leads out into an enormous pergola covered by roses and vines, where people will spend most of the day in summer.There is another pergola at the back with a barbecue. 1000 mt of exclusive garden around the house . The swimming pool and the tennis court are owned by the Gucci family and is only used by them occasionally. From the swimming pool (20 mt x 7 mt) you have an unique view of the Certosa Abbey of Florence. A big pergola (5 mt x 9 mt) is located beside the g pool with sunbeds, arm chairs and a table if you wantto eat there. Towels for the swimming pool included. The pool also has another area with a kitchen, dressing room and shower-room. There will be a welcome basket (fruit, ham, cheese, bread, water and a bottle of wine). Cleaning, including a mid-week clean, is included. A Gucci home Chef can cook for the guests. There are buses every 20 minutes into Florence, and Galuzzo is only a short walk away, with restaurants, bars and shops.
