Situated between Villafranca and Bagnone, this beautiful stone house dates from the 15th century. The owners have restored it back to its former glory furnishing the whole house with lovely antique furniture. Surrounded by its own land, there is a long drive up to the house and there are magnificent views from the house and the swimming pool to the Apennine mountains. Although this house is totally private in its own grounds it is only 5 minutes drive to the lovely old market town of Bagnone where there is a choice of shops, bars and restaurants.

On the ground floor all the rooms have lovely stone arched ceiling. There is a large salotto (living/dining room) furnished with antiques which has arched doors opening to the garden and a large open fireplace . There is a hand built, fully equipped kitchen which opens to the rear garden and pergola terrace, 1 very small bathroom with shower and two large bedrooms with arched glass doors to the garden, one can sleep 2/3 persons.

All the rooms on the ground floor have lovely stone arched ceilings. The second floor can be reached internally or via the stone steps up to the lovely first floor terrace which has wonderful views over the garden to the pool and mountains beyond.

Opening to the terrace is a large dining room and from this there are doors to 2 double bedrooms, a very large luxury bathroom with a circular bath and matching twin handbasins. There is another larger and attractive second kitchen on this level with a fitted copper oven and sink. This room has an archway through to a sitting area. From this area there are open stairs to the upper level where there is a mezzanine sitting area and 2 further large attic bedrooms and a third bathroom with large shower. Every room has emergency lighting, heating, and TV.

The large swimming pool is situated to one side of the house and has stunning uninterrupted views to the mountains. A wonderful place to relax and perhaps have a barbecue as the owners have built a separate covered area for the barbecue and have a dining terrace underneath a pergola next to the pool.

There is a restaurant within walking distance in the village nearby.
