The family in II Bardellino was most friendly and did all that they could to try to cope with our lack of Italian. The son and manager, Signor Andrea Miglioni, was most helpful - being able to speak and understand English. We were invited to join in the celebrations of Padre Miglioni's 79th birthday.

In one of the loveliest parts of Lunigiana at Soliera di Fivizzano is the farm estate of Il Bardellino. The old farmhouse stands in acres of its own land which include spacious gardens with a private swimming pool, boule and other forms of entertainment. The land around produces most of the ingedients used in the kitchen.
The delightfully furnished bedrooms all have private bathrooms and TV.
You will love the fresh country ingredients, transformed in the kitchen by the magic touch of the owner herself, Pierina.
Il Bardellino is perfect either for a weekend break or for a longer holiday away from it all. It is also a lovely spot for a winter or early spring break.
Last but not least, you can buy farm produce direct.
